While I prefer the tv scene, this one has a whole different feel. In the tv show Homelander was collected and knew exactly what he was doing. The plan from the beginning was to crash that plane. In the comics he’s just ignorant and dumb. He’s trying to save them but doesn’t plan for it and then when it doesn’t go his way he throws a toddler tantrum and leaves. A dangerous naivety from being told he is a hero but never being taught how to be one.

I won’t be surprised if Popeye gave him a good ol whooping.

I feel like Stan Edgar will have this same scene in season 5. Like Homelander will finally go all the way and start taking over, and when he finds Stan and confronts him, Stan will be like whatever, and Homelander will leave.

The Powerpuff Girls would slaughter Homelander. They can all move faster than light and Buttercup lifted a whole mountain. Each one of them is also a way better fighter than him.

We all know, the girls wouldn’t need Superman against Homelander if he didn’t have chemical X. Any one of the girls would turn him into red paste in seconds. Or break every bone in his body with ease.

It makes very little sense when Superman or whoever starts throwing trucks and cars at Doomsday. In reality his invulnerability and strength should make them meaningless as attacks.

I enjoy every time a writer doesn't pander to Taskmaster. Many of his fights should be losses, even huge losses, regardless of copying fighting styles.....yet writers having him clowning Venom, spiderman(who can move faster than people think(according to DD). and much more.
